Wonderful Victorian Copper Bronze Dolphin Fish Small Water Fountain Head

Wonderful 19th Century Victorian England Copper Bronze Dolphin Fish Small Water Fountain Head. Approximately 27.9 cm (11 inches) in total height, and approximately 23 cm (9 1/16 inches) in width at the widest section of the upper ear-like fins, and approximately 22.4 cm (8 13/16 inches) at the widest section of the lower pair fins.

The fountain spout tube is approximately 1 cm (6/16 of an inch) in diameter. The fountain head is composed of copper bronze and is an authentic original from which may be used as a template from which duplicates could be created, imagine how spectacular duplicates in silver would appear! This beauty was acquired from England for the British were notorious for beautiful gardens and ornaments there-in.

The splasher or base is not included, how-ever creating one should not be that difficult, and I strongly recommend a base in the form of a shell from stone or glass or marble should appear remarkable, no? I have seen attempts at copying this wonderful authentic original, and thankfully with absolute failure so far, since it appears that those who attempted it, did so with-out the craftsmanship.
