DESCRIPTION :- ORIGINAL VICTORIAN ERA HAND MADE TAZZA WITH A RENAISSANCE STYLE PUTTI AND SCROLLING VINES & LEAVES DECORATIVE BORDER AND IS MARKED ON THE BASE WITH A ENGRAVED PLATE, THE ART UNION OF LONDON WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1837 AS A LOTTERY FOR THE NORMAL PEOPLE GIVING THEM A OPPORTUNITY TO OWN HAND CRAFTED PIECES THEY ALSO GAVE PIECES OUT AS PRIZES FOR ART WHICH WERE MAINLY MEDALS, THE UNION MADE MANY PRODUCTS INCLUDING POTTERY AND METALS OF WHICH WERE MADE BY MANY FAMOUS ARTISTS AND COMPANIES FROM THE ERA. Rare Lampe Veritas Brass Oil Lamp. Looks superb in thick chunky brass. No dents but there are some very small stress splits in the top of the base.

Beautiful Victorian Seamed Construction Copper English Mold, Tin Lined. I've Seen The Gothic Design Before But Never With The Tube/Dovetail Design Construction, This Is Rare. I Think This Mold To Be Benham & Froud Because, I Have The Same Design With Out The Center Tube Marked #364 And It Also Has A Orb And Cross On It From Benham & Froud.
