  An impressive and imposing ANTIQUE 19thC ELECTROTYPE SILVER PLATED on copper WALL PLATE. Features a central motif of a stag hunting scene surrounded by cartouche panels of deer, ducks, grouse and hares, plus four portrait heads of children which I think probably represent the four seasons. In generally good condition with copper bleeding through in some Polish-worn raised areas but generally good. Old wire hangar attached which I havent removed. Dispatched with Other Courier 5 days. This lovely plaque was found in a Vermont estate. It measures 13-1/2" wide x 7" high x about 1/2 deep max. It is a cast piece as judged by the molten-looking detail on the back of each panel.
