Very Good Antique Condition: Moderate wear, as expected with age and use, such as surface marks/scratches/scuffs, tarnish to metal, wear to/loss of paint, etc. Glass wells are in fine condition, one has small hole on top and chip at rim. This beautiful piece speaks for itself. Handmade, high quality, unique and attractive to the eye. Due to its design, its safe to say that this was made around 1880. So this is the real deal, not some modern reproduction low quality piece. When we first acquired this, it was almost black! We have gave it a quick clean and a polish (polished on the outside only) there are some small areas that still retain the original patina. Words nor photographs do this item any justice.
