A LARGE VICTORIAN COPPER PLAQUE. A large and impressive brass plaque from a church commemorating. The inscription is hand engraved then hand painted with black and red enamel. There is unsurprisingly losses to the paint but the plaque itself is straight. Queen Victoria died the 22 January 1901. I have no idea which church the plaque came from but it is possible that it is from.
Nottingham or Devon as there is a connection between st Michaels day and goose fairs. And there are still a goose fair held there I believe, a bit tenuous maybe but a possibility. An absolute one off and a ...
