Extra Large Heavy Victorian Copper Kettle Acorn Lid C 1880s / 1890s

A beautiful heavy copper kettle. This, dating from about the 1880s. It has an' acorn' knob to the lid, and the rim of the lid is nicely crimped to keep it firmly in place. It is a large kettle, standing just over 12 inches or 30cm to the top of the handle, and measuring 9.75 inches or 25cm to the top of the lid. The width to the tip of the spout is 11.5 inches or 29cm. It has a capacity of 7.5 pints or about 4.25 litres. A good piece, with a few little dents from over 100 years of use, but nothing horrid.
