   A beautiful hand beaten Copper Charger. This one from Cairo, Egypt, and dating to before 1900. It has a diameter of about 17.5 inches or 45cm. It has an intricate design - depicting the camel (of course) in front of what is probably the Grand Mosque in Cairo. It has beautiful intricate borders and the workmanship is superb. It weighs about 3.5lbs or 1.6kg. It is in very good condition, we've given it a light clean, but don't want to do any more to it - it takes decades to build up this kind of patina........... A lovely piece, genuinely of the period, and something a bit special....
