Antique Victorian 19th Century Copper Ale Warmer Or Muller In Rare Boot Shape
Submitted by admin on Sat, 09/10/2022 - 20:27
Invented by the Georgians for mulling or warming ale and wine either at home or for weary, cold travellers arriving at local inns and taverns, these practical, quirky copper items continued in use for well over 150 years. Note the lip on one side at the rim so the steaming liquid could be decanted into individual tankards. This would make a great talking point as an ornament in a period property, old inn or tavern, country house hotel, etc.
This item is in excellent condition with just a few dents, scratches and marks consistent with it being an authentic antique item. PLEASE VIEW ...
