Unusual Antique Copper Panel Unknown Gentleman Signed Fred Smith Christi Crux Est Mea Lux. The Latin means The Cross of Christ is my my Light. Measures 31 x 46 cm approximately. Beautifully worked copper panel or plaque. Frederick Smith I have been informed was an Ecclesiastical Copper /bronze worker commissioned for churches and perhaps Exeter Cathedral. Not sure who the person depicted is possibly a religious or local person.
