Unusual Antique Copper Panel Unknown Gentleman Signed Fred Smith Christi Crux Est Mea Lux. The Latin means The Cross of Christ is my my Light.
Measures 31 x 46 cm approximately. Beautifully worked copper panel or plaque. Probably has come from a memorial at a church or similar.
It is stamped Fred Smith Exeter who I have not been able to find possibly the maker but could be the person depicted. Condition as seen on the left hand side about 11.5cm up there is a split of about 3 cm approximately to edge as seen.
