Antique Victorian Heavy Copper Jam Pan - Rolled Top - Seamed -16. A deeper than usual jam pan with a rolled top and visible seams around the bottom and side. Brass handles attached with copper rivets.
It is very worn and has what appears to be traces of tin on the inside and polish residue on the outside. Signs of wear and tear including dents, scratches and scuffs as you would expect from such a functional item. Great for a garden planter as copper is well known as a deterrent for slugs. 40.5cm Diameter (pan only).

Stamped with the mark of sought after supplier of superior copper cookware'E Dehillerin. Dimensions - 50cm L x 27cm W x 28cm D / Incl. Handles - 64cm L x 34cm H / Weight 17.1kg / Rim 2.5mm.

Huge antique 19th century French hammered copper dofeu / braising pan. Formed from one sheet of copper with a dovetail joint around the base and up behind one handle.
The bronze handles are firmly fixed with large copper rivets. The lid has a rivetted copper lifter handle at each side. Both the lid and pot are stamped with sought after mark for'Legry, 2 R. Legry were suppliers of quality copper kitchenware in Paris in the 19th century.
