   Antique 19th century Dutch copper & brass banded doofpot or ash pot in decent condition with small dents & staining but all age related & not major at all. Sits on 3 brass bun feet. Size is 7 inch high including the lid knop & 5.5 inch wide across the base. Signed on the base as shown in the photos. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get.    An exceptional example of an extra large Victorian copper, this particular copper has a large diameter of 27 inches outer flange, it stands an impressive 19 inches high which gives it a real presence! It has a beautiful patina-ted verdigris and a pleasing bulbous shape, but most importantly, this is a well made copper, Extra large coppers are getting increasingly hard to come across. Because of the robust nature, this one is suitable for a small fig or olive tree. This is a great example which will only appreciate in value. This copper has no holes and is also suitable for water lilies....
