   Arts and Crafts / Victorian copper /brass kettle manufactured by Benham & Froud London to a design by Dr Christopher Dresser. The design resembles a cauldron, the 3 legs and the handle being brass. The main body of the kettle is copper. There is patination to the copper in parts due to regular dusting, the underside of the kettle retains its lacquered finish so has not patinated down in the same way. There is one dent to the side, last photograph. Otherwise normal minor age marks consistent with age. The kettle retains its original ebonised knob. No splits to the metal ware. ...
