A Victorian copper coaching or post horn. A simple horn with nickel top section and mouthpiece. The rolled lip is also in nickel. Surprisingly, there are no maker's marks on the horn or mouthpiece. The horn is pretty straight although it does have a number of small depressions along its length. In good, clean and polished condition, blowing nicely and ready to use or display. Antique C19th Copper And Nickel Coaching Horn By Kohler & Son Post Tandem

   A Victorian copper and nickel coaching or post horn by Kohler & Son of London. The horn has a nickel bell and two nickel collars below the midpoint. The top section is also nickel and the mouthpiece is stamped JK AK. The horn is stamped 1851 and 1862 which are references to the Great Exhibition and International Exhibition at which, Kohler & Son won medals. There has been one or two repairs to the horn.
