  A STUNNING Pair of genuine Antique Solid Bronze Fireplace Fire Dogs, depicting Lionesses. A deep rich colour, almost copper coloured in some areas. Each has the stamp 37114Rd. Each with a brass front ring. They each measure 28cm total height and 23cm total depth. They each weigh approx 7kg each, hence not lightweight reproductions. Lots of old dried brasso/metal polish residue all over, as pictured. One of the best pairs of genuine fire dogs I've seen. These would not of been cheap when made new.
