For your consideration is an antique matched pair of Victorian era Staffordshire Spaniels with the desirable reticulated front leg. Decorated in the comparatively rare coloration of green with copper luster, this lovely pair stands approximately 6" in height, measures 5" in length and are 3 wide, with one being slightly smaller than its mate. A small vent hole is found on the base of each. For your consideration we offer a fabulous antique Staffordshire left facing spaniel mantle dog figurine. Sporting rare green details under a copper luster glaze and a reticulated front leg, this lovely spaniel has a wonderful facial expression and bright yellow eyes. Standing 9 1/2" high, and measuring 6"3/4 wide and 4 1/4 deep, youll find him in very good condition commensurate with age. Wear is seen to the copper luster as well as slight oxidation where it has begun to turn purple.
