   Unusual Antique Copper Panel Unknown Gentleman Signed Fred Smith Christi Crux Est Mea Lux. The Latin means The Cross of Christ is my my Light. Measures 31 x 46 cm approximately. Beautifully worked copper panel or plaque. Probably has come from a memorial at a church or similar. It is stamped Fred Smith Exeter who I have not been able to find possibly the maker but could be the person depicted. Condition as seen on the left hand side about 11.5cm up there is a split of about 3 cm approximately to edge as seen. Would look beautiful Framed up of as part of a piece of furniture or door ...

   Made by Benham & Froud of London. Stamped with their Orb and cross stamp (design taken from the repair they made on st pauls). Large size and in very good used condition. Its not been polished i like the aged colour would polish lovely if you want to do it. Inside is tinned but this has aged, (im not sure if its usable) see photos. No holes, the odd dent and scratch but great for its age. It is 13.5cm tallest point. It is 18.2cm x 12.3cm widest points.    This antique copper kettle measures 8.5" wide (including the spout) x 4.5" x 8 tall (including the handle), and shows some marks, wear and patina throughout (please see photos). The handle leads over to one side slightly, possibly intentionally to allow for the lid to be placed in and out with greater ease. It is stamped on both sides with VR and a crown. Perfect for any collection, or for display. As the items I stock are old, they often show signs of age and wear, most of which I describe in the listing, but it would not be possible for me to list all marks, age related dirt etc, ...
